The story of ATHENA :

1. The BR-1 Raketa

In 1946, the Baristan’s government decided to aswell enter the space run, led by the U.S.A. and the U.S.S.R. .This led to the creation in 1952 of the Athena Space Program in ██████. 254 tests were done between 1952 and 1958, mostly for engines. In 1958, due to the lacking of good engines, Athena launched a call for help to other factory around the globe. Penderton Ordnance (U.K.) and Dörosolf Industries (W. Germany) responded. So in 1959, they were put together to form the new engines (and other part) of the BR-1 Raketa, first real rocket of the country.

2. First satellites

In 1965, after multiple other tests, the first satellites were sent on ███ ██ ███, achieving all the tests. Here’s a photo of a majorly completed satellite :

3. The █████ incident

After lauching succesful satellites, Athena experimented on a special satellite, the n°█████. He was meant to be enlarged and able to carry at least a person. This only to experience the new Afina STD, a transmission system but directed in space by a person, so here, the satellite. After a lot of safe tests, the satellite was considered “ready to go” in 1973. Lauching at Vynla Launch Base (now the ██████ ██████ ████), everything went nice. 2 days after, a concerned communication was intercepted from David Erlanger, the man inside the satellite at 6.42 AM. It was not a normal one as he sent multiple audio days before, assuring he was good. This audio, being classified, is not available, but with the help of employees, some infos have leaked. It was a 6 second audio, consisted of a huge sound and then David saying ████ █ ████ ███ ███████ ███████████ ██████████ ██. After that at 6.45 AM, another audio was sent to Earth, this one being ██ █████ █████ █ ████ ███ ██ ██████ ████ █████████ ████████████ ███ █ ███ ███████ ██████████. After this incident, a lot of informations about the Athena were classified, leading in 1976 to the complete end of Athena.
